while i was thinking, daghang pix of veggies ni agi sa kong mind, then the next instruction was to say the name out loud and there came out of my mouth, CARROT, but wala jud to cya sa mga veggies nga nathink nko una...

anyhow, wouldnt hurt to offer possible explanations. let me start:
"six" rhymes with "sticks" and since the latter is associated with "carrot" (carrot sticks) perhaps that's the reason why the most common answer is "carrot"?
