nickgandionco; It'll probably help if you took your own advice and read carefully
before replying. The post of mine that you quoted wasn't directed at the TS (who is @
herp_doctor![Wink](images/smilies/wink.png)
, but at @
Skunk2; who has an entirely different problem (though also related to the OTA update). It's up to them whether they choose to heed my advice, of course, but I think I've stated my case clearly by giving clear, detailed instructions, as well as demonstrating my understanding of Android related issues. None of you even seem to have picked up on the fact the Skunk2's OTA update attempt is failing due to a "no command" error message when using stock recovery. No one else also picked up on the TS' recovery loop issue. So please, if you guys think I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to Android, you're welcome to try to prove me wrong.
Suggesting he take it to a service center is good advice, but the whole point of them asking for help here is that they want that only as a last resort. Heck, they'll probably want to do that anyway if they don't feel comfortable tinkering with their phones. The thing is, the advice I gave is more or less similar to what a repair center would do, anyway.
