You need at least 2GB of vram to drive multi monitor gaming but that would also depend on the card's muscle power. And at that budget range, it would be very hard to recommend a card for that usage. An HD7850 might be able to do multi monitor gaming but you will have to lower some eyecandy to be able to do so.

And that goes to other PC parts as well... power consumption akong critical deciding factor...

Lahi man gud kung ikaw mag bayad sa imong kuryente og daghan pang uban responsibilidad...
-Well said sir, good point and I never really thought about power consumption until you mentioned it hehe. In this case your suggesting i go nvidia then? I suppose mas power efficient na ila gpu's compared to amds or radeons. Although i do pay my own electric bills and wala mansd ko major responsibilities to take care of, consideration taken, thanks for this.

-Hehe yeah 2gb, i meant to say 1gb PER monitor not 1gb for a monitor, my bad. So ang settings turned down a bit is ok with me as long as playable and still looks decent.

Probably decent looking yes. As to power consumption, HD7850 vs GTX 650 Ti there's barely any difference.

if ang basehan is performance per watts.

    i wud go 2GB DDR5 HD7770 | 7790 for sub100 watts

    2GB HD7870 for amd and 2GB DDR5 GTx760 ti for nvidia for tier @ sub200 watts

err..its not 1gb per monitor. kay mag depende na sa resolution ang mo consumo sa memory. the more memory you have the more you can maximize your resolution. example lang sako 3-way eyefinity + 1 monitor for post process production...all are at 1080p. so that's 3x1080p + 1 1080p(32'' Samsung Series 5) on HD6990 4GB is already enough.

check out how your set up will be: Set Up

nvidia is surround technology same as eyefinity.

-if only i can find 2gb sa 7770 or sa 7790 here in cebu then i'd put it on the top of my consideration list already, sadly way stock sa places i know.

-Hmm, i don't think i'll be using 1080p monitors, heck i only have two 20" right now but after i've bought a gpu i'll add another 20" so 3 na. So would 2gb of vram be sufficient be it eyefinity or surround?

sufficient nana. pero kung mag gaming...mag depende nana sa power sa gpu. crysis 3 on my set is mag pinal, murag himatyon akong gpu sa duwa. and that's 3 way only. toned down jud ang settings ana kung mag gaming ka on a buget card.

-Crysis 3? Nah too mainstream d ko magduwa ana haha hipster..anyways noh? and you have a 6990 too, i guess nana lng jud ka bug-at ang crysis 3, like i said im not looking to play crysis 3 mansd. Not much into fps games, although i did like bioshock series ug half-life series.
