i think this is related to Chinese smuggling of philippine coins for its cupro-nickel content, where a few container vans were apprehended last year. They use these coins to manufacture semiconductors used for electronics.

so pila man ni ang ilang giingon nga allowable amount nga pwedeng "i-hoard"? useless man gihapon ni, kay kung smuggling ang tuyo...they can just assign lots of accomplices so that each will be under the maximum allowed value...if naay shortage sa coins, pasinsilyo lang mo sa mga gasolinahan, diha man tanan padung mga barya...The proposed bill criminalizes the keeping or possession of coins of any denomination exceeding the allowable aggregate value, number of pieces and weight "to be determined by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) by any person, corporation, partnership, association or any other form of juridical personality."
The bill seeks to stop the alleged practice by syndicates of hoarding coins, which are smelted and converted into other materials for industrial uses.

Kuyawa ani nga balaod!!! Naa man diay ni multa Php 300,000..... Kung ang gitigum kay worth ra 10,000 nga coins, dako pa man ang multa sa tinigum.. Morag nonsense ni nga balaod.... Applicable lang cguro ni sa mga smuggler ug coins, dli ni ma apply sa tanan...

Mas maayo pa siguro nga tanan coin operated machines dapat habwa-on every 3 days or once a week para maka circulate ang coins.
Naguol tawn akong pag umangkon kay presohon/multa daw siya kay nagtago ug coins sa alkansiya.
