You have a severe misunderstanding of the scientific community then, just as you do with the community of academic historians. For something to qualify as science, it must be verifiable and duplicatable elsewhere and it must be reviewed by other scientists of the same field and in related fields too. This is one of the roads a scientific theory must take to become a scientific law-- overwhelming, if not complete, agreement among all scientists on a theory can likely elevate it into a scientific law.

Same principle with historical research, it must be reviewed and verified by other historians. The more historians concur with it, the more it becomes credible. Historical studies that end up in prestigious encyclopedias are of this type-- your wild claim on that Roman-general-who-later-was-crowned Emperor Titus is not
Why are you talking about credibility? I'm talking about the end-product after this dude.... Who first conceived the idea of integrated circuit technology? A british in the ministry of defense…who got the credit? Those americans, working for texas instruments and fairchild semiconductor….who invented the web? A european, yet ask a lot of folks, and they will tell you that the americans invented the internet…..that's what my point dude...it's too early to expose if it offers a vast oppurtunity of bigger breakthroughs....and these folks should be very careful, as their american(and I will not be surprised if some of these folks will become american citizens ) counterparts are very good innovators.

so please spare me all the lectures dude, I’m kinda like a college drop-out who turned into a bookstore clerk, while you’re a college graduate turned into a librarian who makes sure that silence is enforced in your working environment….but at the end of the day, I still got to screw a lot of girls more for giving them discounts on books……in short,Â* we have separate ways to approach things. You may see this as a breakthrough, but I see this as an oppurtunity wasted, for it is exposed to the public too early. You viewed it in optimistic approach, I went to the pessimistic road....as simple as that.

and don't try too hard to be an academician dude...... because you forgot to lecture those comments from people about them doing the same thing using magnets...hehehe so funny......or I wonder if you're giving me that special privilege?

Great minds do sometimes commit simple mistakes, but you are wrong in saying this is one of those times.
how do you know it's wrong? Do you know what are those folks in MIT, Bell or other american research labs are doing now, out of that press release? ....it's too early to tell dude.

and if these things will fall to the wrong hands..... catching terrorists would be very hard, and a lot of innocent lives will be destroyed........... well, that\'s how life evolves.
Life did not evolve. If you\'re not afraid to debate about it in an educated manner (like you did in \"WOMEN AND THE BIBLE\"), post in the \"Do you believed the Big Bang and evolution theory?\" thread.

    Pax.
Ohh c'mmon, if life evolves or not, it won't change our lives now, what's the big deal dude?....... don't put your thread into another religious thread by telling me life doesn't evolve and lecturing me about the principles of historical research....don't over-react dude by challenging people to post on another thread...don't be too personal...it shows you're so desperate to nail or screw me..... what would you get from a guy who has a severe misunderstanding of the scientific community as well as the community of academic historians?

hehehehe, have a life dude, get a couple of beers, go to the beach, enjoy the sun, and watch some bodies swimming and sunbathing....I did that yesterday and it feels sooo good, I was even lucky to sweet-talk somebody to come with me.
sweet-talking can also move an object even without touching it, just like magnets

.......then we will wait for the next big thing to happen.....OKIDOKI?

Grabe, noh. What power there is in a germ of an idea!

Remember how Leonardo first conceptualized the computer in the 1600s before it actually was created in the 1900s?

Who knows where these ideas will take humanity a few decades from now?

    Amazing!
