nabiktima ang friend sa ako mom ani. this happened at the old bdo sa sm. when she withdrew her money, hibung cya wala na sulod. almost 100k ang na withdraw! they reported it to the bank, when they traced it, the withdrawal was done in manila. di na jud ka compyansa. but how can they withdraw money without using the owner's atm card?

Probably your mom's friend was a victim of ATM Skimming and her card was cloned. Fake or cloned cards can be used to withdraw money even without using the authentic ATM card.

Maximum allowed wthdrawal thru atm per day:

Bpi - 20k
Bdo - 50k
Mbtc - 50k
Cbc - 20k

It pays to enroll yur acct on-line so u can check once in a while yur balance if u hav a substantial amt in yur atm acct...

If dis skimming news is true, the perpetrators cant withdraw everythin in a single day...
