kung ka afford imung parents, why let them choose for you? pero kung dili ka afford, 2 ra ka choice ang imung pilian, standby lang ka or manigkamot makahuman sa kurso nga dili nimu gusto pero almost free. like sa city scholars karon ug public universities, nga gagmay ra ug tuition.
parehas nako, 2 choice lang sad, but now I'm a professional sa akong kurso nga dili nako gusto at first and I have a very stable job.
kontra gusto kaau ang pagmata ug sayo labi na naa kay sayo ang subj.nah...askang kapuya!ahahah

pero maanad rman kadugayan ..
just learn to love what ur doing .
It is much better than without knowing at all what course do you wanted to take..
Felt trapped! lols
You are torn between following your heart
and your parents' wishes.
As you weigh things, you feel that you have
to do this for yourself and not be dictated
upon the desires (or even fulfill your parents'
frustrations in the past) of your folks however
you can't help but feel so OBLIGATED to give
back to all the things they have put through
just to give you good education so you have
no choice but to take the course you're not
even happy with.
From personal experience, I wanted to take
Journalism since I love to write before but
they asked me to take a medical course
instead. First year was unbearable for me
that I kept crying because I didn't love my
course but as time went by, I started to get
the hang of it and finished college.
I wasn't successful though with the field I
was in that I had to go back to school and
start from scratch. And by far, that was the
best decision that I had made.
I can no longer say that I wasted years following
my parents' wishes because it just dawned on
me that the best thing about the whole situation
is that I have the best of both worlds by having
two different fields for me to practice...
