bsta ang inyo lng jd is teamwork. tabangi ang dli makatubag sa mga questions.
- Listen carefully when the panelists are asking questions. Sometimes they deliberately ask questions that are very close but not covered by your thesis just to rattle you. Just relax and say that it is not included in the scope of your study. (This is my favorite ploy when invited to become a panelist.) The reason? We want to know if they really know their thesis inside and out, what is included in the study and what is not. If you try to BS your way out, we will know, and you will fail.
- Look at the panelists straight in the eye when answering their questions. If you are not used to looking people in the eye, look at the midpoint between their eyes instead.
- Being nervous is normal. Use that nervous energy instead of letting it use you. In my case, I don't give in to panic. I use that nervous energy, i.e. adrenaline in my system, to focus my mind.
- When in front of the panelists, clear your mind of everything else. The only thing that should be in your world at that moment is you, your team, the panel, and your thesis. Do not think about your dog, problems at home, that little disagreement you had with a teammate just before facing the panel, etc. They are not important at that moment.
- Always be respectful, in your voice and manner, even if what you really want to do is shoot that annoying panelist.
know your report bai... if naa ka kagroup idivide ang ang topics pra isa sa inyo naa speciality or nka master sa topic. know it all and if possible avoid copy-paste sa literature k ang mga question sa panelist mostly nag gikan rjud na sa inyong report..... be ready lng sa worse case scenario..

Before way back in college we are told by our prof/inst to really understand what the topic is all about and be confident in front of the panelists though we are not that kapalmuks(hehehe) coz the more relax, confi we are in front, the more we can show to them that we are prepared and ready to defend any questions that thyr're goin' to ask..but ofcourse kasabot lang jd ta sa ato thesis og bsag e tuwad-tuwac pa og pangutana cyempre still we can answer them..remember TS they will really find a tricky questions just to squeeze us..mas maau jd before the defend date gather all resources jd and really understand what you are goin' to defend coz no matter how they will twist the questions if u really understand the topic u can aswer jud and ofcourse dapat lng sd jud sabton coz thats your thesis...hehhehe
