i am just very curious about these sites. These are the only sites blocking Philippine IP's. The idea that they are selling endangered species is a possible reality. Many thanks for the discussion.

^^ to answer your concern regarding geographical i.p. blocking: im a developer my self.. and your statement above that is: "THESE ARE THE ONLY SITE BLOCKING PHIL IP's" is absolutely NOT true! i have sites geographically blocked too.. its simply a sales approach. since the sites i mentioned that are i.p. geogrphically BLOCKED are either fashion accesory or furniture manufacturers i also stand firm with @chronnus contention that simply the sites mentioned on this thread are for the purpose of PROTECTING their business against competitors and supplier AND most of all local furniture or fashion accesory COPY CATS.

and that last one i mentioned should give you a firm understanding why they block targeted geo i.p's.

since oyu didnt answered my prior inquiry directly, dont blame me to have a feeling that you are a competitor to these sites. now i FULLY undertand why my local furniture and fashion accesory manufacturing clients gives an utmost concern in the geo targeted i.p. blocking.

thus, your contention that they are selling illegals or illegal, hmmmnnn.. thats what a i call a SOUR contention. if and IF you can prove in before any philippine courts that these sites namely www.conchology.be or www.topseashells.com are indeed selling illegal matters then perhaps that the BEST time to pour and post your CONTENTIONS back this forums.

please be aware and check your black's legal dictionary of the term: "SLANDER". you'll never know when slander hits you or oyu have hitted someone without knowing its definition.

Now can anybody prove this?
Even if naa ka proof (through internet and other computer related stuff even in print) lisud gihapon they can still say you made it all up.
Do you have the cashpower to prove this? Naa ni cla sa Mepz daw so pasabot grabe ni sila og cashpower... unya sukol mo?

Hello makusama.. I have 2 classmates working in conchology.. I know of the selling of shells but i'm not aware if they are really selling endagered ones... Ako pa gani classmates nagbuhat sa site...

Nagwonder lang jud ko where there sweldo came from kay dagko ud cla ug rate tapos their products are collector's shells lang..

about sa ila sweldo... understandable na cya because collector shells costs a lot. grabe gani kuno ila visits sa ila site... nag awas awas kuno! the problem is my friend said quote "nindot man ang amo bai, bu-otan man ang employer, nindot pa gyud kay mac amo gigamit pas2x kaayo! ok ok nlang sad ang sweldo mao lang lagi maconsensya ta kay naa illegal activities.... kana selling of endagered species nga shells". Mao na pag visit nako sa ila site nahibung ko where are the shells there... single page raman.. later na realise nako na gi block diay and forwarded page diay to ako nakit-an.. silly me... so i used a proxy then the rest is history

Disclaimer: I cannot prove that they are really doing illegal things. I just heard from a friend who works there. For all I know made up story ra2 niya diba? I am merely sharing what I heard.
