But changed the constitution in favor for their clan's business interest -- that's still robbing money from Filipino people by blocking more job opportunities . By having this 60/40 provision , look at the Philippines now , lot of people are jobless .

What the heck did she do on the agrarian reform ? She gave "loopholes" for landlords to take advantage to their farmers . Then there goes Mendiola massacre .

    Lupao massacre .

She didn't made the effort to repudiate the debt that was done by the previous gov't. since her gov't was a revolutionary gov't ... even up to this day we don't know why .

Marcos as the best president of the Philippines? ? ? ? No Way! Though he might have done a number of things to improve the country, it certainly did not level to his dictatorship and unjust treatment to Filipinos!

I remember my dad telling me his horrific stories as he fought against that crappy government. He was imprisoned for fighting for rights and fighting against dictatorship! Beaten up and was almost lined up for a summary execution! Is that the type of President that serves his constituents? To hell with the Marcos family! He is as sick as Polpot (Khmer Rouge) enslaving their people for their very own advantage, and disguising their corrupt plans to raise the economy kuno!

If there is anyone that we new generation of Filipinos should be proud of...it's our fathers, mothers, uncles and aunties who fought for our future away from this DICTATOR, and bravely pave the way for a true DEMOCRACY that we -- the new breed of young Filipinos are benefiting from!

A lot of the older folk I talk to seem to really like the Martial Law era, it saw relative peace as opposed to the time before the decree was ordered. Many of you probably believe it was an unnecessary measure, but I think it was a decision that prevented the Philippines from falling into the hands of Maoists, much like what happened to Indochina in the years before. And your history books tell you that the First Quarter Storm/Communist infiltration was an excuse for Marcos to bring forth that presidential decree--maybe the books were right, maybe they were wrong. AFAIK, history is written by the victors--and we all know who the victors were.

Cory did not draft the Constitution bro it was drafted by a Constitutional Convention by the brightest people in our country&submitted to our people via a popular vote w/c was approve the Agrarian Reform Law was drafted by Congress who is dominated by landlords so what do you expect you faulted her for that?At least she's not like your idol Marcos w/c ruled/plundered our country for 20 years! As for your saying that she should repudiate our foreign debt at that time if she has done that our country could have been blacklisted by the International Financial Institution it could have been a disaster to our struggling economy brought about by your idol who stole $10 from the national coffers&have taken over private corporation&you have the gall to tell that Cory is like MarcosGet your facts&history straight you maybe living in the cave for the last 30 years................
