ikaw na gyud tim! heheheh mang shift ta to CDR-King!
Im currently a Nikonfanboi, but recently I have considered shifting to Canon. Its not really an issue on which is the better brand since its the photographer that takes the pictures and not the camera. My reason is more on budget. I just noticed that most Canon gears are relatively cheaper than their Nikon counterparts.
Helping me on my decision, a Nikon store representative told me that the price difference is due to the build quality between both gears. He said that Canon uses a lot more plastic components on their gears than Nikon. Though I haven't verified if this is really true, but I just thought that I'm not really planning to climb the Himalayas anytime soon so why worry on the build quality.
Actually, isa pud na sa akong gi-consider kadtong time na mopalit ko ug DSLR...
Nikon or Canon...
Nikon relatively has "cheaper" bodies compared to Canon.
But Canon has relatively "cheaper" lenses compared to Nikon.
And naka think ko na ang frequency na magpalit ko ug lens
is greater than sa magpalit ko ug body... so mao tong nag Canon ko.
IMO it's not exactly cheaper ang Canon but mas daghan siya options kay sa Nikon.. for example the 70-200... sa Nikon there is the 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII. Ang Canon there are more options like 70-200mm f/4, f/4 IS, f/2.8 and the f/2.8 IS... pero in fairness Nikon lens(even the kit lang) is freakn' better kay sa ilang Canon counterparts. dako lang imu initial investment pero set na man pud ka ana in the long run.
I was dead on in buying Canon before in fact when I went to the store I was asking for a Canon but when I did my research. Nikon has been known to produce good lenses though limited compared to Canon, that's the reason why I went for Nikon. Their glasses may be expensive but it's worth the investment.
i knew na sa una pa na mas bati ang canon contra sa nikon, that's why i went with canon. ganahan man ko og bati...
so its like Canon is Toyota and Nikon is Chevy
Bati anang Nikon, mas nindot ang Canon .... hehe
