Yeah, it's not a huge force and they are cutting the numbers again in the latest budget while increasing the number of reservists. Huge armies are a thing of the past anyway, look how quickly Iraq's massive force was decimated by the Americans.... the mother of all battles Saddam promised never materialized. Technology, planning, rapid response and flexibility seem to be key nowadays.

In my opinion never gyud siguro ta maka sud sa top ten. There are possible reasons why,

1. wala tay real national threat with our neighboring countries(sa karon init pa gamay ang scarborough), therefore there is no need to upgrade our military, that's why we are today are ill equip, no navy and airforce to be reckoned with...

talking about the real threat issue sa scarborough, murag duwa2x rana sa mga military para lang ma dali og allocate ang budget nila. If China were dead serious about taking scarborough, hagbay ra unta na..

2. corruption in the military still prevails... ok ra unta bisan naa gamay(di man gyud ni ma sugpo kay ning gamot naman) basta dako lang unta og improvment sa atong military forces, navy, airforce, etc.
