I finished this game sa xbox...grabe ka kuyaw. But sa movie?..........very dissapointing ( no wonder naman ni)

I find the movie entertaining...makahinumdom gyud ka sa Doom nga game labi na sa may tungatunga na...kanang weapon ra ang makita sa screen dayon mo pusil sa mga monsters.

The movie is nice but they paid homage to much on the game. I mean I didn't think doing the FPS part was a good choice 'coz I don't think everyone would appreciate it (only the gamers can appreciate 'coz from an ordinary person's stand point that was a bit low and at the same time it can make you dizzy). I also didn't like the one on one part (Sarge VS Grimm).

Given those aside, it was very entertaining. ^_^

but what frustrates me most kay si "the Rock" nahug na no-on nga antagonist sa end.

As a gamer watching the movie, they lack some of the good parts. Their monsters are genetic freaks and not monsters from Hell. They should've battled the Cyber Demon, in which I was hoping it was in the movie.

Overall, I give it a 6 out of 10.

saw it yesterday..i thought "The Rock" played John Grimm's role which made me hesitated to watch this movie at first..i say that the visuals and effects gives justice to the orig PC game version..but the downside is that the CASTS are not really that heavy, it makes an impression that this is a low budgeted film..but all-in-all it's a must see movie for stunning visuals and storyline :mrgreen:

Sheesh!!! 120 bucks for this movie I'd rather watch Dubai 5 times than watch this movie.
Doom is about demons from hell!!! Not humans turning into genetically modified human monsters!!!
And the first person scene in the movie, so so lame. I felt they put it there just to please the gamers, I've played all the Doom games and it did not please me.
Ha! and they even had to name one of the doctors Carmack.
I hate this movie.

Though it did not really go through the story as how it was supposed to be on the game, it's still a thrill to watch..
