the discussion is not revolving anymore on GMA plans on allowing Marcos to be buried in Libingan ng mga Bayani... it's more on the discussion if he could be buried there.

    FK, read the threadstarter's post:

What's wrong with that guy? Personal yata ang galit kay GMA niyan.

Anyway, burying Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani would be an insult to the heroes buried there.

The dead care not for such things... I only worry what the effect would be on younger generations who don't have a firm grasp of their history

forgiving does not mean forgetting.. more importantly, forgiving does not mean turning our backs on justice.. giving Marcos a hero’s burial is not justice..

technicalities may present valid grounds for giving him the prerogative, but the deeds he had done while in the power have forfeited the same..

Anga ko lang concern kay kasagaran sa ato mga younger generation wala na makabalo unsa nga klase to nga tawo si Marcos. Sus grabe. Kung naa may dautang pulitiko kadto si Marcos gipakyaw niya tanan. Corrupt, manipulator, maro etc.

Unya kadto ra ba si Marcos naa to siyay paborito nga linya.

"Respect the Constitution and the rule of law." Mao na paghapit naman expire iya term, iya dayun gi usab ang Konstitusyon. Tukod sa parliamentary system dayun declare siya martial law. Mao na dayun to nagsugod ang mangitngit nga kasysayan sa ato nasud.

well, its better to have him buried there since he is a war veteran and a former president instead of having a dog buried there next to heroes. marcos may have had his own share of faults but he did a lot of changes for the country and imrovements. his record of projects done cannot surpass what the past four presidents achieved all together . . . at least then we knew marcos was the only one stealing from the country . . . but now everyone is stealing from relatives down to the nephews of elected officials. maybe even the neighbors of officials steal as well.
