After the President’s campaign promise to support the development of renewable energy and phase-out coal power plants prior to his election, i thought this administration would approach this problem with a greater measure of integrity and sophistication. On the contrary, he has allowed coal pushers in his team to overturn his pledge as evidenced by the DOE’s existing plans to build an unprecedented number of coal plants during his term. The President should be advised that each coal plant he builds edges out the opportunity for the people of this country to harness clean and renewable power.

We have to allow 100% foreign equity ownership in power generation, distribution, and transmission so that these local power companies who are closely connected with the current administration will force to provide more efficient electrical services to the people while gradually lowering the price or to die from competition. Our monopolistic electricity market is the reason of our highest electricity rates in Asia.

mao naman jud na tingale ang trend, wala na ta mabuhat ana...all we can do is wait and see. nuon naa mn na ang mga congressman sa mindanao, pero I don't know if mabutang ba na nila ilang pork barrel para sa improvement sa source sa electricity, or basin dili pa enough ang ilang pork barrel para ana nga project.

current location Valencia City, Bukidnon, we are not experiencing rotating brownout here, 24/7 always have electricity unless magkilat ug magkusog ang ulan kay magtrip... pero if the sugar refinery stop its operation that's the time we will suffer and experience the rotating brownout...

naay government power barge ang mindanao sa una producing 200MW para maoy mosupport during kulang ang supply sa hydro apan gibaligya sa atong governo niadtong 2010 sa aboitiz,
so karun whenever we need additional power we will pay for it kay ang barge tua na TMI(aboitiz) para modugang sa kulang nga supply...

duda ko aning mga hydro, wala ni gimaintain ug tarung ba kay nagdeteriorate na daw ang output.... dawat lag dagkong benipesyo ning gatrabaho sa napocor.. tsk tsk tsk.... asa naman d i ang among gipangbayad sa kurente arun mamintina ug tarong ang hydro o sulod sa bulsa napud?
