it depends on the print.

i have seen really nice blouse-and-skirt ensembles na ang prints are complimentary to each other. tightly-spaced small floral print on the blouse then sa skirt kay the same flowers but very far apart and getting bigger as it "flowed away" from the waist. the secret to carrying that off is when the skirt is a bit flowing too.

the same goes for the same print but on different materials. like a opaque material with print and the blouse is a chiffon of the same print.

and again....the skirt has to be flowing to pull this off

and of course...the dress style is very 1990-ish. hahahahaha
