Default Re: Wireless Keyboard -n- mouse : RF or Bluetooth???

i have read reviews of the laser mouse they say "its too damn sensitive". at first i wanted to buy that combo but i ended up with a lx700 because i cant find the mx3100 here in cebu. where do u plan to get it or order it? i saw tti selling the laser mouse alone it cost 4800 i think or close to that price that's only the mouse. i got my lx700 for 4800 both mouse n keyboard i have no problems with both keyboard n mouse.

yah i think the difference between the bluetooth n rf is only the range but m not so sure.

i went to Newegg.com and read some reviews about MX3100 from the people who bougth the product,....
    from wat i read,...
the buyer/user were not complaining bout the MX1000 mice,....

    (here's wat some people said,....)
"The mouse is super comfortable and extremely sensative."
"The precision of the MX1000 is the best of any mouse I've ever used"
"The MX1000 cordless mouse is super-smooth, feels like it's floating"

i might order it from Newegg.com or if i can find a store near by that has bout the same price,.... i'll get it from there,...

I'm using Logitech wireless RF for my keyboard which draws much lesser battery power. And A4-Tech for my wireless optical mouse (no battery needed) which only using RFID Mouse Pad Technology. I replaced my logitech RF wireless mouse....which is sigi lang ko'g ilis ug battery. Bluetooth also also using RF link at microwave frequencies. The drawback is it interferes with mobile phones. Aside wireless keyboard and mouse like Logitech uses UHF frequencies but RFIDs technology uses LF at 13.56MHz or even 5MHz which also safe to use and doesnt interferes with other equipments. I hope this info helps you mate!

ow. ur in california. wer just here in Cebu. good for u, u can get all those stuff from there but here i hardly can find those good stuff. ebay, amazon, n others doesnt deliver elctronics outside of USA.

the RFID is new technology from a4tech. u can check it. the pad has the wire not the mouse so its still a cordless mouse.

This technology is similar to RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) swipe card. Here the RFID wireless optical mouse is powered by RF emission from a special & dedicated mouse pad which is connected thru your USB port. Once you moved the RFID wireless mouse over the mouse pad, it powers up and transmit signal back to the RFID receiver embeded inside the mouse pad. There is certain perimeter where you can move the mouse off from the mouse pad. What I normally did is I mounted the RFID mouse pad under the table and used a normal mouse pad positioned straight above the RFID mouse pad. So I can moved my RFID wireless mouse freely without any tangling wire.

the mx1000 mouse is comfy. and moves nicely on any surface. i am using a dell thin mouse pad (kana libre sa mga dell na desktop) my mx1000 mouse also acts weird when you are running out of batteries. indicating that it is time to charge the mouse. pero the batt last about a week

hmmm the a4tech mouse will move as long as it is used on its mouse pad. so with out the wired mouse pad the mouse is hmmm. useless. and it is not completely cordless since you need the corded mouse pad to operate. (the secretary in our office is using this mouse. . .)
