I have to learn the Nikon system now. Which lens AFs with which bodies. Bakit ba medyo magulo Nikon when it comes to lens and bodies? While we can use older lenses (not all), I wonder why not all their lenses AFs on certain bodies. Weird...

I think as long as the lens can focus (manual or otherwise) and its aperture can close (manual or otherwise) when its mounted then its a usable lens. This is the reason why I switched to Nikon - on account of the usability of their 20-year old lens on Nikon dslr mounts.

yup, i'm using a very old (ingon papa nako mga late 70's daw toh napalit niya together sa iya film slr) 50mm 1.8 lens
