impose death penalty for those who committed corruption both private and public sector.syaro'g dili mahadlok.

pass a law prohibiting politicians age 45 and above from running in any position. para mawagtang na nang mga "old school" na politicians.. this would not eliminate corruption but i guess it would lessen it.

and you will corrupt the very arbiters of the death penalty..... it would not lessen it at all.... this will just give them additional weapon on their "political enemies"

The solution is not "cleaning" the government, one head at a time.... the solution is dissolving the powers of the government as a whole, one step at a time.... it will lessen the operational costs of the government, decrease expenditure, decrease influence, decrease role in individual's lives... but that has to start with each one of us avoiding seeking welfare or benefit from the government...

1. vote no in all additional welfare programs and slowly taper off from current welfare programs.
2. eliminate minimum wage, child labor act and soften regulations on free market.

I could go on and on, but the first two will be huge tasks to do... That is the only way to cut the funds of corrupt people, not only those in the government but also those people who benefit directly or indirectly from the programs... the less we expect from the government, the less they will tax the people, the less the amount of money to be stolen...

No. 1 sounds brilliant. Now, describe to us how you expect this to be accomplished and how long before we get to feel the effects of such changes. Take into account the 'quality' of our leadership right now and the 'representatives' of the people in congress and the senate, and the rest of the population.

No. 2 is equally inspiring. But how do we deal with the labor unions and the laborers themselves who will certainly cry foul. The minimum wage as it is is not enough, they will tell you. Eliminate the child labor act?! I can tell you don't have any children yet. Seriously, if you are referring to eliminating RA 9231, will it be fine then to let children work 48 hour weeks of hard labor? Or to be prostituted by their parents like what happened to a family in Cordova? The RH bill will not be necessary then and the 'poor' can go forth and multiply. More children, more workers, more income for the family.. No coercion, just a valid contract for the children... How's that for Liberty?

Obviously, these are huge tasks, but walk us through (realistically and not hypothetically) the means to reach the end that you preach, and not just directly to the Utopian end.

If the very arbiters of the death penalty are corrupted, then death to them too. And the next batch, and the next, until lessons are learned.

There is no silver bullet in eliminating corruption in our country. A multi-approach is needed in solving a problem that is rotting the foundations of our society..
