Because of the nature of my work, I have travelled far and wide and seen places through the lenses of my camera. In all the differences, I still love the Philippines, Cebu in particular.
I might be quite long winded here. But please bear with me as I tell you 2 anecdotes.
1. Way back, when my family was in Anaheim, California to please the children with a trip to Disneyland, my youngest, a daughter then 9 nine years old at that time, was throwing her tantrums left and right because she wanted to go home already. And to think she was all ice cream and fun rides at that time.
2. A US Presbyterian pastor, a dear friend, once asked me if I believe in the Garden of Eden. I answered him, not in measured terms but more naturally, "Pastor, if ever there is one, it must be Cebu. It cannot be just any other place."
i think each one of us has it's own fav country no matter wat kind of country that is...each country has it's own beauty and wonders that catch up our attention..when it comes to beaches, phils is the best for me due to the white sand it has but when it comes to the gov't systems, canada is the best one for me..it has lots of social programs that are being offered to its inhabitants..we even hve student loans in hre which is very helpful and beneficial to us, students..and the agreement of paying is lying under our consent..so it totally depends on us,students..we can pay it after we graduate and hve a job..isnt it cool to hve like that in the phils??i hope whoever the sec of educ in the phils cud think about that program..in that way, there's a possibility that the unfortunate students cud pursue their unbeatable dreams..and wud not juz end up to nothin...
Philippines doesn't have the funds to finance that kinda programs... sa States naa man say financial aids sa schools.
Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?
ezra: why dnt they(political leaders) think bout that kind of program..??cge lng sad corrupt ning mga kagwanga!!! mao nang luoy kaau ang mga pin00oy...cge anha sa bulsa nla..mao nang wa oi ika-finance cla...puro wa oi au cla..heheeee.....
Mao na diha...Walay elected politician nga pobre.. ngano kaha? Mistil mga Brngy. Captain mangurakot pa.

haha a tragedy definitely..
gwapah: why there arent any programs like that in the phils? ill answer that for you, not only are the politicians here corrupted but the sad to say and embarassing to admit being a fil myself, one factor would be fili are too "maro" to be trusted for a student loan program.. imagine how the govt would be able to manage collecting all the loans??![]()
babygurl: yea, it's so sad and embarrasing to hear that "we" fil are known to be "maro" and cant be trusted when it comes to loan programs...mao cguro na ang pinas wa gyud oi au...ma politician leaders or mga ordinary inhabitants, pareha ra tanan..na unsaon na kha pag-asenso aning pinas nuh!!!hmm, MARO huh...i like that term...hehehee...
Cambodia, Thailand, Greece and Morocco
for me it has to be the philippines...it always makes me want to comeback.
