Need help with my canon eos 5d mark ii :-(

sir i was trying to use my camera with the tripod. was trying to do long exposures unta.try-try lang unta buh mao need nako ang remote,di ko ganahan mo press sa shutter button kay it'll ruin everything man gud.

for your long exposures, there's a very simple solution. use the 2 second drive mode so you don't need the remote and the camera doesn't shake after you press the shutter.

for me, ang gamit ra nko sa remote is group shots nga layo nko i set up ang camera. that's about it. if i'm near the camera, and i take shots of landscapes, i always use the 2 seconds.

thats another reason too sir so i can include myself in the photo. i might take a trip to canon service centre one of these days. kahasol ba aning style. .im pretty sure its not the remote for it works with the 7d. gi reset na nako tanan settings sa 5d mark ii pero mao ra man gihapon gyud. they have to fix it before the warranty runs out.

sir I'm in sydney and canon service centre here is like an hour drive. i have to make sure that its the camera thats defective and not something else. I've tried pretty much everything but no luck. i have tried using both the switches of the back, its the one shoot and 2 sec timer isn't it?and then put the shooting mode to same but still it doesn't work. now I'm very close of trading it in with a d3s.my friends suggested it.theyre nikonites but i don't wanna confuse myself of having to learn how to use nikon, I'm already confused as it is

better dad.a nlng gyd na imong cam sa service center para di nka mabalaka. thing is - it might stay there for days.

for now kng mag tripod ka follow teemoy's advice plus use MIRROR LOCK i'm sure 'twud help
