but to some the day doesn't end with the camera inside its bag or storage...but when you click "save" or press "crtl+s" after hours in front of the computer doing photoshop. hehehehe

hahaha sometimes lisod na i define if photographer ka ba or graphic artist? some do heavy image manipulation which i am not a fan of.

Naa ka point master but as what TS said, Nag ask siya asa siya mag start.Unsa nga nice nga camera para start sa iya Hobby..There are several kinds of camera naa pang lomo, point and shoot, DSLR's which is pwede nimo gamitun as iya nga hobby. As what I understand is She/He needs someones point of view of what kind of camera... IMHO

well honestly as a starter i am confused on what cam to use. am
not reli particular with the brand as i need to explore on the cam
itself.. however, i would like to thank those pipol who reli gave their advys.

ako i started last year july. i bought a canon 500d. i shoot as a hobby and sometimes, i get hired as a second shooter for weddings. also, i have 1 client who i shoot for regularly. in my experience and opinion, daghan2x pud kog nakat onan in 1 year's time. dli lng nuon ko total newbie when i started out kay i already had a bit of photoshop experience prior to my passion for photography.

i'm happy with my 500D. ako lng is 1 year later, na outgrow na nko ang camera. there are features in other cameras that i wish this camera had. so mao na i'm looking at upgrading to a new body now. if i knew then what i know now, I would have bought a 7D instead of this 500D.

To the TS, if you're looking at the long term, buy the most expensive camera you can buy. if you think this is just a passing fancy, get an entry level camera.

I started with this kind of hobby (lingaw2x) last year oct, 2010 kay nanggawas naman an DSLR, my 1st dslr was canon 550D which i bought from TPC on line, i enjoyed capturing images and making videos kay 1080p an iya video recording, but after 6 mos. i shifted to nikon D7000 kay medyo nakontento nako sa image quality due to new sensor nya specially sa color rendition if gamitan mo pa nice lens maski 50mm lang, because mahilig ko mag upload SOOC ( straight out of cam) images sa FB kay kapoy man sige photoshop i used only cropping & resizing which include watermarks, today i really enjoyed my D7k + nice lenses.
to TS tama si teeemoy, buy a medyo a little bit expensive DSLR + nice lens kay later on baka magsisi ka and you will realize nga tama what other istoryans are saying, kay once you enter into photography mag eenjoy ka, sometimes nakakatanggal ng stress, hope matagaan ta lang ka additional info which DSLR to choose
