Either is good, but EVGA is going to be slightly cheaper compared to ASUS.

Also i am getting confused how ASUS Gene Z68 is faster than EVGA Micro Z68 ?
Both have the same specs. Even the PCI-E Slots offer the same X16, X8 when Crossfired/SLI.

    Performance: Both are the same.
ASUS: Based on Intel Z68 chipset, Supports Intel Socket 1155 Processors
EVGA: Based on Intel Z68 chipset, Supports Intel Socket 1155 Processors

    Memory: Both are the same.
    ASUS: 4 x 240-pin DIMM sockets, Dual Channel DDR3, Maximum of 16GB/32GB of DDR3 2200MHz+
    EVGA: 4 x 240-pin DIMM sockets, Dual Channel DDR3, Maximum of 16GB/32GB of DDR3 2200MHz+

Expansion Slot: Both are the same. People mainly look for PCIe 2.0 X16/X8
    ASUS: 2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 ( x 16 or dual x8 ), 1x PCIe x4
    EVGA: 2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 ( x 16 or dual x8 ), 2 x PCIe x1

Multi-GPU Support: Both are the same.
ASUS: Supports NVIDIA® SLI™ Technology, Supports AMD CrossFireX™ Technology, Supports LucidLogix® Virtu™ Technology
EVGA: Supports NVIDIA® SLI™ Technology, Supports AMD CrossFireX™ Technology, Supports LucidLogix® Virtu™ Technology

Storage I/O: Both are the same.
    ASUS:

    4 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s)
    2 x eSATA 3Gb/s port(s)

    EVGA:
    Intel®, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)
    8 Channel High Definition

USB Ports: ASUS Wins, 2 more USB 3.0 Port(s).
    ASUS:
    4 x USB 3.0 port(s) (2 at back panel, blue, 2 at mid-board)
    12 x USB 2.0 port(s) (8 at back panel, black, 4 at mid-board)

    EVGA:

    Color: Depends on the USER.
    ASUS: Red + Black
    EVGA: Grey + Black

    Price: EVGA Wins.
    ASUS: $199.99
    EVGA: $159.99

    BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BRAND?!
ASUS IS WAY BETTER THAN EVGA!

~ERR, it depends. Each user has a different experience per brand.
I have sold EVGA Motherboards that died
I have sold ASUS Motherboards that died

    ASUS HAS BETTER RMA?!
    Wrong.

I have experienced Both ASUS & EVGA, taking long times in RMA'ing products.

But ASUS HAS GAMERS REPUBLIC BLING2X
    ER, i could careless..

It depends on the item, if you got your EVGA from NANOTECH(current distributor), you get guaranteed 7-14 days item replacement.

ASUS is from Iontech/Axisglobal(current distributor) 2-4 weeks Item Replacement
