i agree in pursuing graduate school or masteral
studies, but try to consider also the tremendous
outcome of being an entrepreneur mga bros.

Dili man pwede masagol ang MA ug PhD sa imong name bro
Murag kulang man 5 years bro para masters ug phd. unless siguro mag non-thesis ka sa imong masters?
So far naka help pud akong pag masters kay nitaas ako position. Pero ako suggestion if naa ka sa IT, mas maayo take ka mga certifications. Gamit ra kaayo ang post grad if plan ka mo work sa academe or government.
To be honest ni kuha ra kog Masters kay para sa ako position not because of knowledge kay pwede ra man makuha nimo sa workplace or sa self study ang knowledge nga imong gusto.
Naka apan man gud diri sa ato-a kay basta post grad ka, dako ka sweldo or dako imo position even if walay sulod ang utok Daghan school sa Cebu nga ang masters or Ph D na mga students pulos lang report2x. wala jud gamit in terms of acquiring new knowledge.
Bato2x sa langit ang tamaan bungog!
it's more convenient and inexpensive to pursue graduate studies nowadays especially nga naay mga scholarhip grants ang ato gobyerno... We are already lagging behind our Asian neighbors in terms of professionals obtaining a masters degree or PhD so dapat pud nato igrab kini nga mga oppurtunities.
ako pod ganahan aning mga imba nga mga position
@istoryamember: di ko kabalo mo multiple qoute..hehe
pwede man ma MA, Ph.D.. lahi na field for MA and another field na Ph.D ka..
my college professor have 5 M.A.'s and 1 Ph.D.
ang 5yrs was taken out of context.. what i was trying to say 5yrs for my MA..
that name with many sorenames(hehe) kay sort of a joke..
thanks for the info.. though i just have the need to reply so as not to look dumb..
with regards to the criticisms of the post grad programs in Cebu depende sa school.. ka experience pd ko anang cge lang report.. pero wala pa nko na human akong MA..

Bitaw brad, that is my point. Actually, pang promotion raman na ang masters degree. Even if dili ko motake, ma promote man gihapon ko, ug magka taas akong sweldo. Pero mas paspas jud if naa kay MA.
Then, dili ko gusto dali ma promote kay ma pressure ko. Pressure na gani ko ron bisan wala pakoy masters.
But I hope 5 years from now, maka take nako ani. Hinog na siguro ko ana sa panahon.
I want nga makatabang gehapon ko sa ako mga subordinates kay knowledgeable ko.. dili lang sige ra ug sugo2x. Ma tandog pod akong pride ana.. hehehe
i'd prefer having certifications lang...
ang success naa ra na sa diskarte or swerte
ang knowledge... naa ra na sa palibot... makat.on ra na kung ikaw mismo maningkamot mukat.on...
i took 9 units sa MA but wa nako napadayun kay ni abroad nako. planning to take nursing then PhD. di ra tantong ambisyusa!! hahaha. bitaw, di na ni for money reasons why nag ambisyun ko ana but i just want to challenge myself kay wa nako gi take akong nahan jd nga course sauna kay wa man gud mollah and i was living with my lola that time.
even Shaquille O'neal has a masters degree in business administration...
It depends on what you want to do with your life.
You can go to school 1/4th(or more) of your life and work 3/4th(or less) or you life. Most of your time & effort goes to study, work and pleasing your boss/teachers.
I prefer to be an investor/entrepreneur. I get to do all I want to do 7/8th of my life. Most of my time I can spend with my family.
