pero kung nangita jud kag para practisan pag entry level lang sah kung baga start sa kag elementary ba dayun highschool dayun college.. ako ikasuggest kung sa canon kay 550d or 600d or kung sa nikon kay d5000 or d5100 or mas maayu D90 ditsu kay legendary na nga camera hehehe...

nice advice, i was thinking of buying point shoot type to begin with. . . .

Nikon D3000
Nikon D5000
Sony A330
Canon EOS 1100D
Canon 600D
Pentax K-x(the one im using now)
Pentax K-r

Check out the specs of each of this camera, once you have your choices, go to a camera shop and feel each of the ones you like. They will help you decide which one is the best, the best for you that is.
It's like Cancer, there is no known universal cure, but there are cure for each type of cancer. In photography, there is no best camera. The best camera is the one you shoot with your heart..

You should have love of photography and art first before you decided to go into this realm.. Before you become a Nikonian, Canonian, Soninian, Pentaxian and etc. you need to be a photographer first..

oh, by the way Pentax K-x was hailed as the best entry level dslr in 2010 by TIPA..

@wire: DEMONSOCIETY is right. Any experienced photographer will tell you "stop being a gearhead and start being a photographer".

That being said, I suggest you buy first an entry-level DSLR. Within your budget, the ones with trivial features. Your goal is to shoot photos first.

When you become a better photographer bai, you start criticizing your own work and then you eventually explore your camera's features of what it can and it cannot do.

After you master those, you will eventually realize that your desires are no longer matched by your camera and that's when you decide on an upgrade.

Some or probably a good number of photographers will recommend the best you can afford. Aron daw walay mahay. Ako bai, i find that BS.

Why? Because you cannot predict if a few months to a year from now you would still be interested in the hobby. I tell you bai if mopalit ka mahalon derecho nya ma pul-an ka. Good luck trying to dispose of your junk. If mahalon imo napalit dugay na mahalin if ibaligya nimo.

Lastly, good body is only part of the equation, invest more on lenses that suit your purpose, because when the time comes na mag upgrade2x ka sa same brand, reusable mana imo lenses.

For me pinaka nindot na DSLR
Extremely Durable, Good Picture Quality at any Situation (Low light, Hazy, Perfect WB etc...) with Affordable Price! so far wala pana ni exist
