Maski higned atong basihan AMD is more expensive and runs significantly slower... your chip is 12k.. say 1090T ? I'll wager that with a i5 2500K @ 9,700 its faster for gaming, runs cooler, consumes far less power and overclocks like crazy!

AMD has 2 cores advantage but is 20-60% slower in games/apps.

AMD is simply just more expensive unless we are talking about the sub 2,800 processors.

i'll check on intel's side if mka build ko new rig and compare the two. pero pra nako the intel is way more faster jd based on some reviews.

Only AMD knows the exact answer...

maybe that's because 6 one-way roads are more expensive than 4 one way roads. And since intel is smarter they decided to make it 4 2-way roads. So i5 2500K has 4 lefts and 4 rights. While AMD 1090T has 3 lefts and 3 rights.

    Just my wild guess....

Think of the traffic on the roads Earlz

    4 two-way roads vs 6 one-way roads.

Your analogy is still not sinking in, i doubt anyone else understood it.

Are you trying to talk about the core architecture and how the core logics are made?

    2x 4way road = Hyperthreading , 6x 1 way road = AMD?

I havent seen a review that shows AMD is faster, at least not from yorksfield, nahalem, sandy bridge.

    It's like this:

500 cars coming from the east and 500 cars coming from the west.

AMD's 6 core design: 6 roads. 3 roads for cars coming from the east and another 3 roads for cars coming from the west.

Intel's 4 core I5 design: 4 roads. Each road allows cars coming from the east and west to pass through.

Asa mas dali nga flow ang AMD or Intel? 500/6 = 83.33 minutes for the traffic to disappear while 500/8 = 62.5 minutes for the traffic to disappear. Why 8? Coz Intel has 4 roads such that each road has two lanes.....

    In short:
Intel has more lanes per core compared to AMD's......

I understand the analogy, thats been used to compare and explain SDR vs DDR.

I now understand what your trying to say but I think your saying it incorrectly or just to overly complex, dont involve the number of cores since its not really part of the triple channel discussion.

Simply put, triple channel has 1 more lane vs dual channel, hence making it faster on applications that are memory bandwidth intensive.

The road analogy does not apply to the # of cores since not all cores are always used. core per core Intel is faster no need to make it complicated.
