nice information...learned a lot...but there are things pa lang na dili pa kaayo ko ka relate....but I will surely ask if ok ra pud ninyo...hehe...

anyways, unsa man naka lahi anang 50mm f1.8 and telephoto? I don't know kung unsa gyud term sa akong nahan nga pictures but I'm more on a "portrait" or shall I call, expressions and emotions of people around me and more on macro photography...in my own little way...hehe...

so, unsa man inyo ma suggest? kanang 50mm f1.8? how much is that pud? what's the use of telephoto?

50mm f1.8 is a prime lens. single focal length lang, dli pwede mo zoom. zoom using your feet ( atras-abante ka.hehe). telephoto, kanang mga 70-200mm, 18-200mm, etc. since portraits and macro imo, you should invest in primes. 50mm and 85mm are good for portraits. not so sure about macro shots, but primes ra gyapon imo gamiton ani.

an 18-200 or 18-250 would be best in getting to know yourself
agree ko ni sir dex but sa ako ma comment bsta newbie pa sa photography mostly wla pa kau khbw asa iya field na gusto..tanan gusto e shoot.ider landscape, portrait ug zoom2x na lens gusto..inani sd ko b4 tanan field gusto bt karon i feel to like landscapes,,,interesting kau pra nako..i also like portraits ky maybe mao jd na kasagaran e shoot f naa ka camera..this is for me lang ha..

When I first bought my dslr with 18-55mm kitlens the only other lens I bought was a 50mm f1.8 and wala jud ko nagmahay. As what most here have said, those two alone could help you decide kung asa jud ka magfocus sa imong shooting preference. Ayaw lang kadani anang mga nindot nga landscape if you're not into landscape jud, or with any other field for that matter. It's not advisable to try and be a master in all fields/scenes until you master one first.

I've read sauna sa kenrockwell.com(http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/dx-dream-team.htm) nga ang recommended niya nga line-up is 10-24mm, 35mm, and 55-200mm. Unsay tan-aw ninyo?

nindot pud ni nga line up bro. wide end covered sa 10-24, tele end covered sa 55-200. midrange ang 35mm den mag foot zoom nalang ka.

ang disadvantage lang sa tele end is iya AF, if mag sports/bird photography, dli kaau paspas ang AF to capture the fast moving subjects.
