They should do clinical trials with a large number of $ex workers. At the moment these women take the pill in case of broken condom, but there's nothing preventing disease from spreading in this scenario. Give half the actual product and the other half placebos. The results would be very interesting. It's not going to be dependable as a safety measure, but I suspect that it could significantly lower the rate of infection within high risk groups.
I don't really think this is for real. Maybe a few more research to validate this claim.
