well GLBB mi diri pod bro and mozcom pod ala mi problems ana, hinay lang ang Globe over subscribe siguro pero never experience block sites, if you dont have a firewall i dont see why you cant enter other URLs thats y i suggested running hijackthis.exe for you to have a better look on your config

i tried it.. i don't understand what to do really, but i ran hijackthis and in the last line of entries there isn't anything about DNS addresses or something.. all are directories (C:/Program Files/etc).. and also, my DNS address in network control panel is set to automatic detection.. it has been that way since i had an internet connection..

May i know where is your location. I got the same problem with globe lines broadband as well... I can surf any sites except friendster and hotmail. I've tried to trace the route going friendster and i don't have a problem. Hey, pldt user can you give me IP address of friendster just for a troubleshooting purposes. Results, wud be my basis in reporting the problem to Globe helpdesk. I assumed this might be their DNS forward zone b'coz It gives a request time-out when pinging either msn or hotmail domain names. However, got no problem pinging friendster but webpage doesn't load.
