i am sorry, but the ultimate reason why i exist i believe is the fact that i havent killed myself yet, and that i think that i exist therefore i am existing. our judgement of the man/god we reverently call jesus christ unfortunately, accept it or not, srpings from the fact that all the things we know about him are 'suggested' and do not necessarily come from ourselves. the 'facts' in the bible about his life, may or may not be true. but everyone thinks it is true anyhow. our so-called 'personal experiences' have stemmed forth from this suggested belief of salvation and this historical person's divinity.

it is after all a matter of faith (as neo_dark wisely said) and faith is something more complex, more intricate than many things in this world... in faith, sometimes lies are truth and the reverse is otherwise.

Have you experienced a lyf so full, na as if you have everything this world could offer and yet deep inside, theres that void... a feeling of vast emptiness despite the things that you have... and have people all arround us who really love us... a perfect wife... As in so perfect and yet, you feel EMPTY. It's because the love of Jesus hasn't yet penetrated your heart. We are all created by GOD to be fully in praise and worship to GOD. It's written in the BIBLE, and the BIBLE isn't just facts, they are the very words of GOD. Countless attempts have been made to destroy this BOOK, and not even one succeeded. It is really true, and it is written that HIS words will last forever.

When I met Jesus, and accepted HIM to be my personal Saviour, everything has changed in me. I saw the road where He wanted me to go. For us men, our question is always about direction. Where should I go? What things should I undertake to get there? When Jesus penetrated my being, He clearly showed it to me. I never knew a GOD so real... A GOD so loving.... A GOD so close to me... Before, I thought he was just out there in the heavens, barely hearing my prayers, but when He became my true GOD, I experienced a GOD so loving, that I can't find the right words to explain and vividly explain it.

i am so sorry, but we sometimes fail to realize that the power of suggestion is very, very strong. we underestimate the power of a word, the power of a thought, the power of a concept once is it uttered or read or thought upon or heard.

ever notice that when someone tells you look nice, u kinda feel good inside? or that when some tells you you have something in ur nose u immediately cower and blush beet red and try to run away in shame? the power of words. thats how strong it is.

now imagine this power fused and forged together with the 'validity' of age, the wisdom of being 'old' and most of all the charimsa and utter reverence for being 'perfect' what do u have? God. Religion. Holy Books.

'i have the perfect wife.' ' i have the perfect car.' 'i have the perfect life.' the power of suggestion is strong. but something esle is stonger. the power of suggestion AND all those things enumerated above.

'but nothing is perfect in this world.' so u think. the idea of perfect car, wife or life then is cancelled. what replaces it? what else but the concept of perfection... and where does pefection supposedly lie? in the 'divine' of course as so many preachers and teachers and religious people uttered so many many many many times before over and over again.

who suggests that god is perfect? us. humanity. ourselves. why? because we cannot find perfection here... so we hope... we lean to that hope that perhaps out there somewhere perfection really is reality and not just a dream.

humanity's drive for perfection. and the power of suggestion... add a dash of mysticism... a dash of scientific ignorance and boom! u have ur creation myths. boom! u have ur moral laws. boom! u have ur messiahnic prophecies. boom! u have your heaven and hell. boom! u have ur salvation.

never underestimate the power of the human mind. it plays tricks on itself... it plays tricks on us.

faith of course is closely related to mysticism... faith is essential. religion is essential. mysticism is essential...

but let us not be blind... and pretend to be blind in order for us to see what we want to see.

if it is only by closing your eyes to reality that u can see what for you matters most, then perhaps you do not belong here in this world. to close your eyes from the bitter fruit of reality shun from the pain of living only to be deluded by thoughts of greatness and grandeur only because you want to believe in a thing many people believe in is pure folly and utter madness.
