    and so it begins lol

i didn't mean "bad" as in literally. it was just a cliche.

current events bitaw na..lol and i posted my sources, so to me those are "credible" besides, no one FULLY understands Astronomy. Coz if we did, we wouldn't be having this discussion right here.

na unsa ka? you telling me that "im not so bad" didn't really register anything hostile. but more a friendly chat, chika ba. natingala paman gani ko ngano gi edit nimo imong post. are you concerned that it could start an argument? very unlikely.

and me telling you to transfer your thread to the general discussion board is merely a suggestion.

Let me make it clear: astrology is full of it. If you base your life's decisions on what an astrologer says will happen, then I am truly sorry for the fate of the human race.

This isn't a matter of opinion; this is a matter of fact, cold hard facts. Please read Phil Plait (a renowned ASTRONOMER) and his blog about the whole thing:

No, the “supermoon” didn’t cause the Japanese earthquake | Bad Astronomy | Discover Magazine

Astrology is pseudo-science. That's why horoscopes are not treated seriously by most people; "lingaw-lingaw lang bitaw" is the common phrase I hear from people who read it. That's fine with me, but please don't say that "we need to keep an open mind" and put that phrase together with astrology. If you so insist, then we should give equal opportunity to the belief in fairies, unicorns, homeopathy, snake oil, and other quackery this world has to offer.

I implore you to read that link, please. STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION.

There really is no need to resort to such insults. Show them reason.

    "KA ME HA ME WAAAAVVVVEEE!!!!"

igo! nahayang si godzilla! akong duolon. pero naa pud diay nuclear fire blast si godzilla coming from his mouth!

    "BWAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!"

    here comes the twilight brigade!!!

waves upon waves of love sick teens, late teeners, twenty somethings, thirty somethings and even menopausal women launch themselves against the wolfman in all out attack!

frustrated si wolf man. he is the best at what he does pero dili niya kaya mopasakit ug misguided females! OH NOES!!!! barug lang jud siya, syagitsyagit, hoping for his strength to hold against this mindless tide!!! pero dili kaya!!! aarrrghhh!!!, gitunobtunoban si wolfman, dayon gilabay ug layo!

in the end, godzilla stands triumphant over cebu. the vampire walks, shimmering, sparking under the supermoonlight, ignoring with his soulful eyes the pleadings and lamentations of his mindless horde.

    but!

in an island at the tip of the province, the wolfman licks his wounds and gathers his strength. nagsabot na mi. i am still charging. 3000 pa ko. once i get over 9000, we are going to attack and take back the island.

    ...to be continued

    nobody is misinforming here..
we are all open on healthy discussions..

and by the way.. astrologer just coined the word "supermoon"
but observations about the moon effects was based on real incidents and studies..

User:Wikinaut/Moon-Earthquake-Theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The purpose of this ad-hoc page is to collect quickly references to theories using constellations of the planets for prediction of earthquakes. Why? Because the big earthquake in Greece and Turkey (autumn 1999) took place after the total solar eclipse (= new moon constellation), the Sumatra Earthquake and Tsunami 2004 at full moon, and many more major earthquakes at the special full or new moon constellations. The russian scientists and others have observed that probability of major earthquakes is high at or 1..3 days after full or new moon when the line of gravitation crosses close to the tectonic plates boundaries."
