ok ra man palit 2nd hand as long nga macheck lang jud ang unit.

ang nakapait man gud on buying 2nd hands...naay uban hidden defects nga dili ka pahibaw-on sa seller. imbis nga makabarato ka, mas mahal na nuon imo nagasto kung mataymingan kag ang unit naay hidden defects.

theres always a risk buying 2nd hand item..been there , done that.. so its a big lesson for you to learn...
if you can still contact the seller..mag tunga nlng sa repair... if not then if you still have the receipt. (if you have) then theres always a law that protects the buyers... so tell that person na if she wont settle this things with your camera then daghan mga local attorneys nga kalingawan ni nga case for free... ok?

starting pako in photography.. and what's important before buying something (especially expensive) is to make sure to buy the best and don't rush things out.. mas better if you'll opt for brandnew lang since you don't have any idea yet of what a good condition second hand camera looks or feels like..

i bought a Lumix FZ-100 bridge cam for 20k brandnew nah, ideal na for starting photogs, rushing out for secondhand dslrs could be a risk to ur investment..

not all ISTORYANS can be trusted, just like how your neighbors cannot be all trusted... it's a matter of choice... it's up to the buyer najud..

bro wa ta kahibaw basin imo nato sis ang nakaguba.. i mean gi travel p bya from cebu to tacloban dba? then for sure gi gamit pato sa imo sis..

Hi there fellow istyoryans,

In the previous week, i bought a second hand NIkon d40 camera from a fellow istyoryan. He sold it tome at 18k, nahangyo ko sa 16.5k, at sabi nya in "prestine" condition pa camera at wala defects.

She showed samples of her shots to my sister who personally met her in Cebu. When I got hold of the camera I tested it with shots, and i found out there is white portions in the frame of the shots every time i take a shot. I called her and complaint about it. But she said its just about mixing the settings, exposure and etc. So, i understand that baka wala lang ako alam sa camera at baka di ko pa lang nakakabisado ang nikon.

But as days passed, the "white space" became bigger, it reached half of the photo. AND NOW, WHITE NA TALAGA LAHAT NG KUHA KO. kahit ano gawin ko sa adjustments, settings, reset set-up, shooting menu, custome menu. wala jud, white na talaga lahat. I am disappointed with this kasi pinag ipunan ko makabili ng second hand camera minalas pa.

Pinakita ko sa kilala ko marunong sa camera, sabi niya sira daw shutter ko. Tsk! it will cost me again some 2k-4k for the repair. Worst, wala nikon center sa tacloban, meaning gagastos pako punta ng cebu (kung meron) dahil sabi ng kilala ko sa manila lang meron. Grabe experience ito. Bad shot ako dahil narealize ko NOT ALL SELLER AT ISTORYA CAN BE TRUSTED!

i JUST WISH that somebody here will say that there's no problem with my camera, I wish somebody will say there's a nikon service center in tacloban or cebu, I just wish someone here will say he can suggest something to ease me. Daghan Salamat sa readers. I appreciate kung me mag comments. thanks

Ok, lets try to check the problem first. Can you post the pics kato imu giingon nga naay white space/portions sa pic, aron ma check nato if unsa gyud?

Kay if the cam senses shutter or any problem sa iya system, naa jud na ERROR message mu appear sa imu cam...

panganli ang seller kay bati man pud nga madamay mi tanan dire...
labi sa sama nako or namo nga mag baligya-ay pud dire nga tarong gyud...
nya barato pa kaayo.
