Here in the US they have animal police. If you have a pet you need to give them food & shelter, and if they get sick, you take them to a vet. Daghan na kaayo nangapriso mura 3-6 months because they neglected their pets, or animals. Ma kabayo, iro, or cats. Strikto kaayo, alangan mga animals diri naa may mga registrations, matrace dayon kinsa'y tag-iya.

Naa sila tv show in Animal Planet, there was one dog who was very skinny then it was winter, didto ra siya sa gawas, wala kaon, and tugnaw. A neighbor reported the owner. Giadto dayon sa mga police and arrested the owner. Bisan unsa na ka pobre, not an excuse, they have to give up their pets to the pound if they can't take care of them anymore.
