puede ra ang solar power/batteries sa areas nga wala gyud commercial power (VECO, CEBECO, MECO, etc).
unya light loads lang...pang dan-ag lang sa kangitngit sa kagabhi-on.

uu, X3 man starting load ana. Nindot gamitan Power Factor corrector ug variable frequency driver.

naka dungog ko sa AM radio talking about something...ni hisgot siya ug "cost/benefit ratio"...like if the cost is small compared to the benefit, ipadayon ang project, pero if the cost is big compared to the benefit, dili maayo ipadayon ang project...

if ato i-apply sa inyong solar project...mas daku ba gyud ang benefit?

Unsa man nga risk u gi-mean? Kadto amo project sa Solar before in 2006 in Mindanao was a government-iniated project with Dept of Agrarian Reform as the implementing agency.

Based on my prior exposure with Solar Project, ang kontra gyud ani was the local electric coop kay makuhaan sila og prospect customers in their area.

To cite one instance in one area in Mindanao, the barangay supposedly got certification from the electric coop, nga di pa ma-electrify ang said barangay in the next 10-15 years...so we prepared the community for the upcoming Solar projects.

But, in the course of the social preparation, niabot ang taga coop, then nagpatindog dayon og poste para kuryente na daw...so we decided that time to put off the preparation, unya adto na lang ihatag ang solar packages sa lain nga community. (One condition namo was that, kon duna gani poste sa kuryente, meaning soon dunay nay kuryente diha nga lugar, solar is no longer necessary for the said community)

Nasuko si Kapitan sa taga electric coop. Pagbalik sa engineer from that coop, gidad-an jud ni Kapt og .45 ug giingnan: "sa una wa jud mo magpakabana namo dire sa bukid, unya karon kay magka Solar man mi, dali dali mo og butang og poste...unsa man gusto ninyo kagubot?"

Pero diha sa Cebu, ok ang CEBECO...In fact, duna man pod gi install ang CEBECO nga solar packages sa mountain areas somewhere in the south.
