If you have to force people to take care of their parents then there's already something very wrong with the country. Why not spend the money to educate people better, first not to have so many kids because if you are poor and have 5 kids and can't feed them 3x a day then they are going to be angry with you and won't take care of you when you are old. Second, educate parents not to neglect their kids or force them to beg on the streets so they can just stand by and get drunk all day. Third, with better education people can have better paying jobs so they can support their families, themselves and their parents if needed. Passing a bill that forces people to support others in a country where people can barely support themselves is stupid, just like Lito Lapid.
