On Braces and Retainers

I had braces for 2 years. Â*I got off it last year. Â*Nindot na kaayo akong ngipon. Â*When I had it on, I hated it at first kay lisod ikaon ug daghan ginadili. Â*Pero na anad ko kadugayan. Â*I get the occasional sores pero nothing major. Â*Wala man sab complain akong bana. Â*It doesn't cause bad breath or gum disease as long as you brush and floss your teeth everyday. Â*I still have to wear retainers everyday for 2 years, and they placed permanent retainers at the back as well. Â*It was soo weird when it came off kay it felt like my teeth were so huge, I didn't smile for a while. Â*

WOULD it affect ur speech? i mean the way i would talk? coz am planning to have one but the problem is am working in a call center industry so iim really bothered if it would really affect my speech and i will sound funny on the phone.hehehehe

mag-pa brace man to ko, pero gi-pa-pili man ko sa ako mama.. PC or braces.. PC ako gi-pili jud kay wa pay sakit, malingaw pa ko! hehe. basin mag-pa-brace nya ko.. pero lain kaayo kay college na ko.. uwaw.. pero maayo man pud daw kay effective way to lose weight kay sakit i-kaon.. hehehe

i'm wearing braces now. i agree with nikki, sakit jud kaayo at first. wala ko gana mu-eat because sakit kaayo ipaak sa food, especially kanag solid foods. afte 2 weeks, mas better na, maka-eat nako and maka-storya na ko ug tarung, dili na yungit.

every month, i visit my dentist for a check up and malingaw nalang sad ko sige pailis ug color sa elastics... hehehe...

just had the brackets "installed" yesterday. this pm pa ang kanang murag wire-wire. shox, ingon sila na mas sakit kuno if tauran na jud ato. My golly, naglisud naman gani ko ug eat na bracket pa. sige na lang oi, basta ma tarong lang ang teeth.
