    1,300,000,000 divided by 5 years = 260mil per year

    260mil divided by 12months = 21.67mil per month

21.67mil divided by 4 = 5.42mil per week (assuming these are weekly shows. i dunno wa pako kita ani)

5.42mil divided by 2 shows = 2.7mil per show per week

imo, unless they cast superstars in these shows, i think the budget is overpriced.

Can you qualify further? How much does NBN and IBC charge for airtime rates? Kinsa may mga artista ani? Angel Locsin? Piolo Pascual? Dingdong and Marian? Any of the current pretty faces and talents who demand a hefty fee? Has the Philippine Government become a "non-profit organization" by dishing out 1.3Billion on a 5-year contract for two obscure TV series na sure ko wa jud ni-click kay wa pa jud ko kadungog ana nila before today.

My thinking is that kung mopagawas ka ug ingana kadakung kwarta you expect a much bigger return. How do you do that? You create a hype to attract a lot of people, right? And the only way you can do that is to employ artists with the most number of following and use the networks with the most capabilities/area coverage. I doubt NBN and IBC has even that kind of coverage that could rake in the required revenues. Di na man gani makita ng RPN-9 na ga-antenna ra ko....

I am speculating that this show is doomed to fail. If and when it does, what will Mr. Caparas and the producers do with the money that was spent? Gibayran na sila even before the show started?? I bet there are ghost crews in that roster. So kung bati ug outcome ni nga show, hunungon, nya i-uli ang sobrang kwarta? ...ang nagasto?

Since mahug na this is a government-funded show, can we see the records? Where did the money go? Pila na nahabilin sa 1.3Billion so far? Paita aning atong kahimtang as the Filipino people oi... Gi-unay ra jud ta sa atong isig ka Pinoy ani.

    This whole deal just reeks.

kay running naman ni nga show, the best way is to have it rated para mahibawan kun popular ba jud or not. if it is not working as it is intended to be, then pcso can renege the contract.
and they are doing this to sell lotto? Ridiculous! lotto will sell itself, halin man gani ang jueting nga pwerti nang tago sa usher.

am sure, with pnoy's stand on corruption, this contract is good as dead.

you sure won't be reacting this way if it the contract was under Pnoy's administration. mediocre my a$$.

according to the reports per episode costs 650,000 pesos, one episode runs for 30 minutes including commercials (non paying commercials of course because it airs on NBN). there are only 3 to 4 Z list actors and shots are NOT taken with 3D cameras.
