^^ The key to every computer build is balance. What i mean by this is having no bottlenecks. you can have a gpu that can handle super high resolutions like a 5970 for example but if your cpu is a celeron, you will not be able to optimize your 5970. With 20k lisod2x ang target for 1920x1080 without creating bottlenecks. FYI, When i say 'target' it means playable frame rates all at max resolution. if your definition of 'target' is just reaching the resolution even without max settings then i say 20k will do. again please specify your purpose more. Also give priority whether you value gaming or productive suites more.

So unsa ang imung recommendations sir to achieve 1920x1080 playable frame rate at all max settings?

i assume ang budget nimo doesnt include monitor or keyboard/mouse yet right?
If pangita nimo is playable at max resolutions jud, i would recommend going with the past generation GTX200 cards. The best value to get the target 1920x1080p would be two GTS250s (or 9800GTX+ kay basically the same card ra) in SLI (bisan 512mb versions of these cards will do). You can also opt for a GTX 460 1gb version but i think the GTS250s in SLI is probably better in terms of productive suites. For cpu, go AMD at your budget. Consider Athlon x4 600 models or or Phenom II x2 or x3 (kung ka swirti ka, maka unlock ka all 4 cores for the price of a dual or tri-core). All in all, for the target 1080p res, you're looking at 30k give or take. Again, i assume wala ni apil monitor, keyboard, mouse.
