Default Suggestion on how to pay RPs DEBT [P3.82 trillion]

My suggestion is to sell Palawan Island to US as payment to the debt. After that our government should renew its policies and get rid of the corrupt officials.

I think it's time to put this thread up. After all, news in the past few weeks seems to be positive with regard to payment of our foreign debts. Business news even averred that we may be able to pay these foreign debts by the end of the year. Now, that seems to be interesting. Budget deficit is on its 8-year low.

Maybe we should give credit to the effective economic management that we have. Of course, the government is not the sole reason for this. The people should also be given credit. After all, OFW remittances place a big bulk of our revenues.

Public procurement should not also be an avenue for corruption. In as much as the government enhances its way of public procurement through electronic procurement, our legislators could pass more procurement laws to end corruption. Even the Asian Development Bank has urged the government to pass such legislation.

The end of graft and corruption would really be of great help for us to pay our current debt. After all, we are on the right track of reducing government debt with the present status of our economy.
