Ok, klarohon nato... kung ikaw naa kay D3, mosugot lang bah ka na u will have only 1 lens (50mm 1.8 )? You were able to acquire an expensive camera body man gani, say P150K imong pagpalit. Ayaw ko ingna nga di ka kaafford ug palit ug 50mm 1.4 which is around P15K?

I'm not saying that 50mm 1.8 is a bad lens, but there is more better than that which sure na makaya paliton for a d3 owner.

Lol, kana kung naay option ang poll nga "Expensive camera + expensive lens". Pero wala man, so why bother make a different scenario...

The 50mm 1.4D is not better than it's 1.8D sibling (I'm talking about Nikkors), IQ-wise.

I'm not saying that 50mm 1.8 is a bad lens, but there is more better than that which sure na makaya paliton for a d3 owner.

Una sa tanan ang D3(*) dili tag 150k, it's 250k php the least (istorya ta ug brandnew)
Ika-duha wla man ta nag-istorya ug usa ka lens to isa ka body ratio. Ang topic is would you go on an expensive body + cheap lens lineup or cheap body + expensive lineup gets? Ika-tulo why would I bother getting a 1.4 f-stop if the "bakya" 1.8 f-stop serves my purpose? Dili man pasabot nga nindot na pirme imo kuha ky 1.4 na imo f-stop. I think if ever you're a photographer concern ra kaayo ka sa imong image ug unsay isulti sa uban tao about you're gears (resulta G.A.S!)

And if I ever planned on gettin' another prime it's not the 50mm 1.4, adto ko sa 85mm 1.4 nano para mas mo-bibo ang show

Of course, if i have money i will buy that better option 50f1.4. Let's talk about reality.

I know nga mas mahal siya, i did put (+) on it, some can acquire cheaper though kay naa man mamaligya na mag upgrade from d3 to d3s.

What i want to emphasize is, a d3 with a 50mm f1.8 lens, i never talk about 85mm and so.

Again i never underestimate that 50f1.8, it can take good photos, i'm talking of reality here. A person who can spend around P150K - P250K for a camera body, can afford to buy a better lens, other than 50mm f1.8. As i'm for a better lens than a very very good body(D3).

hahaha bitaw, guys answer the question lang gud i think the ts was trying to find out what you would pick in case you were starting out or were given a choice for your first set of camera and lens

Actually, dili ra man low light performance ang problem sa cheap lenses
It's more than that actually... akong pinaka-hate is chromatic aberration ug distortion.
Ang vignetting kay ma-tolerate ra...

expensive body will do on high ISO level even when you use cheap lenses, so i go for it!
