In camera, make use of Adobe RGB (usually maoy kinatas-an nga color profile available sa camera). During post processing, make use of ProPhoto RGB (wider color gamut than Adobe RGB). When you're done post processing and ready to save your final output for a targeted media, convert the color profile to that of the target media or device. It so happen that most target device the color profile sRGB is used.

Now if you wan't more colors while recording and processing your image, make use of the color profile with the widest color gamut or color range.

more reading is necessary if you really want deeper understanding about color space, color profile and color manangement and I believed every digital photographer should have the basic understanding about these things before moving on or before calling themselves a digital photographer.

Mo work man gyud na nga naay nindot ug results kay naa man kay color profile gigamit.
Usa pud sa reason misikat ang mac among photographers kay naay maayong handling sa color profile ug nindot ug rendering sa photos.

Oe, nabuhi ang akong thread. I am using adobe RGB to all of my work, then convert to sRGB when posting for web and for printing.
But just this last Sinulog i am sRGB all the way to be safe. para nako sRGB is like JPEG it's universal or standard. But most of my work i am into RGB since it can encompass wider gamut of colors when i am post processing, a calibrated monitor may help to distinguish the difference between color space.

One thing nga advantage when you set your color space into Adobe RGB in camera is your option to switch to sRGB on post processing. When you set your color space into sRGB in your camera then convert it to Adobe RGB sa post processing you could not render the wider gamut of RGB.
