well, it's not only about the fps figures or how smooth the game is...we just want to get the best of our ATI cards...and one gud ATI driver update can give us that...why settle for good when you can have better (and you can get the driver for free)..

Yes, which is to be able for their drivers to force enable AA on SC2. Quite relevent, for those who owns an ati card fast enough to support aa, and those running SC2 on a low resolution quite irrelevant for us with weak ati cards :P who's barely able(luckily) too run it on high and those running sc2 on an HD display( I can't seem to see the logic of enabling AA at 1080p, that defeats the purpose of AA in the first place ). Unless you got Clark Kent's eyes.

I don't see what all the fuss is about GPU performance... its a RTS game not a FPS.

Most of the cards do above 30fps at the minimum with ultra high details at 1920x1200...so what's the problem?

Basically if you have a HD5750 or better.. I don't see how getting faster frame rates will improve the gaming experience.

Yeah I don't get the fuzz here. This game has been in development for more than 3 years already and this game should run even on a toaster.

a little bit off topic, but Starcraft 2 currently doesn't support any Sli from any Fermi video cards from Nvidia.

Tested GTX 480 SLI/ GTX 470 SLI/GTX 460 SLI = Same fps with 1 video card for each model

Depending on a campaign or map, a Gtx 480 can go from 50fps to 120fps.

it is better then dota, the problem is people in the philippines are too cheap to even purchase non pirated copies. Hence people won't like Starcraft 2 because you have to buy the Original Game in order to play Multiplayer.

Starcraft 2 currently only uses 2 CPU Cores, & Doesn't support MULTI GPU SETUP's for the 5xxx Series from ATI & the 4xx Series from NVIDIA.







Now this is the actual and proper review. GuRU3D review = wrong and inaccurate.

btw, many are already clamoring how Starcraft 2 is a letdown. You basically need to be logged on to the internet to play this game because it constantly needs to verify its authenticity. Also, there is no LAN, or local skirmishes from what i hear. Amazon only gave 3 out of 5 star rating from 600 reviewers.

Its not a letdown, people in amazon who voted 1 star rating don't even buy the game because they can't LAN. They are angry because you need to buy a Legit copy and not be able to pirate and lan it like Starcraft 1.
People who play online games, and play legit don't have this problems, its only for people who don't want to buy legit copies and rather want piracy.

Most LAN's conventions in the world have internet already, like in Sweden they had internet all over for people who wanted to do World of Warcraft Arena Tournaments, or Heroes of Newerth Beta Tournament. Using LAN as an excuse for Piracy. tsk tsk tsk.

User Reviews mean nothing, because it will results in ratings like:
