You rinse the pasta under cold water when you are not going to sauce and serve it immediately to stop the cooking process, then drain well.Originally Posted by d`monyita

Did you know that General Milling used to make an excellent spaghetti from durum semolina that they branded "ROMANA"? It suffered from poor marketing though (concentrate man gud sila'g gasto sa PBA basketball team "Alaska" at the time). Usik kaayo, it smelled good when being boiled, and the broth actually tasted good I'll bet a good cook could have made it into soup. Nowadays if ordinary spaghetti I settle for the Del Monte durum.
I like the spaghetti with mushrooms at TJ's. Vegetarian. If you like spicy, you should also try pasta with pesto sauce and sardines (preserved in olive oil).
My favorite cheese with spaghetti is Edam (queso de bola) because it has a sharper taste to it. Don't use the local variety kay that's really cheddar shaped in a ball.[br]Posted on: August 15, 2006, 05:54:57 AM_________________________________________________H ave you tried Tinder Box? I get my Gouda there. Don't ask how I use gouda with pasta cuz I don't. Para pastrami sandwich ra jud.

@absolute - yeah lami bitaw tuna sauce with tagliatelle...if you get a chance sulayi sad cream sauce...nya ang toppings asparagus and salmon...add chives and parsley...gamay salt and pepper sus daug na! another option for tagliatelle would be curry cream sauce (add lang gamay curry powder sa cream) ...nya toppings would be broccoli and bacon....
to others who would like to try and need the exact recipe...just let me know aron ato ma post...but otherwise i would assume just the ideas of pasta/sauce/topping combinations are enough.....happy cooking!
weeee... I also love pasta!
Anyone care to share their own recipes?
