I sincerely hope for the understanding of having local judges as of this time becoz to invite a judge from abroad requires a huge budget which KCCI does not have. I will give you an example how much it cost KCCI when we invited a lady judge from New Zealand, her fare was 120T pesos, excluding her stay in Cebu. It was a big mistake but the President had to suffer for it. There are times when a judge can be shared among 2 dog clubs but the timing must be good. Also involved is time management where the Club officers need to entertain the invited judge during the week before the dog show if ever we share the judge. With all these into consideration I hope KCCI been a small dog club will have more sponsors and entries to somehow enable them to eventually invite some foreign judges.....we need all the help we can get......

dili lalim kuha judges.. even gani local judges.

mao okay na ni, basta lang naa na pod ta balik show sa cebu...
even ccsmi of davao gani galisod na pod sila put-up their own show..
tungod lagi sa financial considerations in putting up shows.

Yeah...I know and I do understand how hard and expensive it is to invite a Foreign judge. For me, there's no issue whether it's local or foreign judge as far as judging is concerned. The only concern there is for those show enthusiasts/breeders whose dogs already got a Major point on these judges from other shows. If they get a Major again on this judges....I think the points are not honored by PCCI.

Too bad...2 of my dogs already got a Major point on the 2 judges.

But we still might be joining the 2 shows....But anyhow kodus to KCCI.

To be a Philippine champion the dog should get 2 majors from 2 different judges. After the 2 majors one can still get points from the same judge to accomulate its points to be a Philippine champion.
