Oh that's nice! Naa ba gihapon service center ang Pentax sa Cebu? A friend of mine kasi is contemplating in getting a K-X. It really is a well-rounded camera. He's just wary of the service center; or lack of if none.

hmmm most expert photographers are now acquiring k-x as their sidekick DSLR aside from their primary Canikon DSLR but their are lot's quite a numbers who used K-X as their primary weapon though hehe...yes... we have here a PGRC (Pentax Global Repair Center) Dept. in MEPZ - K-X by the way is assembled here sa MEPZ Cebu excluding the Lens because sa Pentax Vietnam na cya usually gi manufacture...u can call 032-3400505 local 1219 or 1234 - ingna lang ang makatobag nga e refer ka sa repair section kay naa kay ipa repair nga cam...both PNS and DSLR Pentax cameras are service here in MEPZ - gudluck

during the time nga wla pa ma oso ang DSLR (digital) PENTAX is a big giant sa Camera world during the film era its bigger than canon and at par with Nikon but sadly wla kaau ma anticipate sa PENTAX ang karon Digital era - but hey now that we are merge with the Giant HOYA who knows we wil be @ par with those two giants....hehe i'll just keep my finger cross though --cheers!

in Manila their are many hardcore pentaxian some of them came from film era and continue to be pentaxian this day's you can visit @ their forum site they know stuff like accessories and more here in cebu sadly we are just started yes your correct sir that currently Pentax accessories are quite not all available here in cebu but not in manila their are a lot of them...Pentax market usually concentrate US, Europe and Japan as for now i don't know much detail though in marketing side for i'm only in technical side kid with regards to a living.

Bought my pentax here at istorya. The former owner change his system to nikon. Happy with my pentax. To really think about it is not the camera but the user. Tried using canon 50d but still will go for my pentax though still learning how to get good pics also tried using nikon90 not so friendly. As for lenses have bought from users in Pentax Manila and also tamron from Manila too. As for the lenses of Pentax, i could say they are more cheaper than Nikon or canon and good ones too. As for service center, all are in manila even for canon and nikon. if you go to the service center here in cebu they will still send your camera to manila. If thinking of buying k x don't buy from camera haus very pricey you could get from manila. Henry's is selling red KX, i think for 40t
