some of the party goers are not Christians. Atheist most likely...
some people tend to party man gud kay mao ra man gud nay vacation nila sa year.. so sabton na lang pud nato sila..
there are lots of Catholics in where i live but they dont practice the same thing like you do back home.
most of our people back home rely too much on prayers hoping that would give them good health and wealth!
and yet many wondered why country is in so much poverty?

for me, each of us are entitled to do what must do
and respect will make it more FINE to us.
this is a basic example of colliding each belief,
spitting venom to another venom,
for a greater satisfaction.
will this satisfy everything if one of us prove great reasoning here for A MERE SATISFACTION?
the to cut it short... those who don't observe the holiness of the holy week do not have the intention of keeping it holy...
