Well, it doesn't really mean na it's perverted..

A Trap, in a nutshell, is someone who looks like a female, but isn't. It's not really all about the person's gender. Sometimes, especially in anime, certain circumstances require them to wear female clothing, may it be for a mission or jokingly forced by friends, or possibly for a contest, etc. However, some of them just feel like it. Or are brought up as a female.

They're called traps because, well, you didn't expect them as such.. uhh, you know. /captain obvious.

As for girls who look like cute or stoic males, they're called reverse traps lol.

Now i won't go to the Japanese terms because they are tiresome to type and differentiate..

(I am totally talking about traps in the 2D world, mind you, lol.)

Now, for people who are too fond of traps (in a different level/way), i guess you can say it's a bit perverse.. xD
