Puppies often vomit and/or get lbm because something they ate disagrees with their tummy. It usually clears up on its own within 24 hours. You should take your dog off of food during that time, then start feeding them a bland diet of boiled chicken with rice for another day or two, then gradually switch them back to their normal food by mixing some in with the chicken and rice, and slowly increasing the amount of dog food at each meal until they're back on just the dog food.
If your pup has switched brands of food recently, gotten into the garbage, or eaten anything else he shouldn't have this would cause the symptoms. Eating grass will make him vomit too: dogs often do that on purpose when they have an upset stomach and make themselves vomit.
Another cause might be worms. It sounds disgusting but you should examine the vomit and stool for evidence of worms, also of foreign matter like bits of garbage that may have caused it.
Does your dog act sick? Does he refuse food or treats, or will he still eat? If he acts sick and listless, just laying and moping around, he needs to see a vet. If he just barfs then carries on as normal, eating and playing, then he's probably OK.
If he keeps vomiting repeatedly he's in danger of dehydration which could cause liver and kidney problems. He should be taken to the vet and put on an IV drip to rehydrate him, then they can do blood and stool tests to check for diseases or other causes of the vomiting and runny stools. You should take samples of the stools and vomit along with you to the vet for them to examine if they need to.
