if you can ping sites, then its not a dns issue.
maybe firewall jd or sa browser, try lang jd install new browsers or reinstall ur current browsers.

I encountered this one before...
I had a unlicensed windows OS and enabled the windows automatic update.
The automatic update runs and tried to update my unlicensed OS and goes the problem.

I reformat and disable the auto update and tried to manually update and goes the problem.
Reformat back and didn't do any updates.. hhehheeee.. maybe that would help.

Situation: Can ping but can't browse..

Possible cause: MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) Size, this happens when, intermittently, some websites are inaccessible or are loading slow. Considering that internet packet traverses from one network to the other, breaking them down and constructing them back, sometimes your machine/ router has some problems managing them.

Solution: Try lowering the size of the MTU from 1500 (default) to something lower, by adjusting the registry settings - How to change the PPPoE MTU size in Windows XP, or you can download the apps and the instruction that tweaks the registry - ::. Kitz - Tweaking MTU settings .::. Hope this helps.

problem solved. ni gamit ku ug NORTON REMOVAL TOOL. naka browse naku. kung mag uninstall ka ug norton be sure nga mo gamit ka sa ilang norton removal tool. grabe kau ang norton. hehe
