The $787 billion stimulus package has a 24 month schedule that the detractors (note: Rep. John Boehner) have no patience for.

Even Rush Limbaugh went as far as wishing that Obama's policies will fail. Talk about crab mentality - if the policies fail, it will affect hundreds of millions of citizens. Healthcare reform is gradually progressing as we speak, way beyond what happened during the Clinton era.

Obama and his administration can't fix the problems that have piled up before he took office. It's brave for him to undertake such a task especially if you have rabid Republicans breathing down your neck, waiting for the slightest hint of weakness. Change does not happen that quickly. The failure here is the inability of people to commit themselves to the fact that they are in deep sh*t and it's gonna take a long time to dig themselves out.

Oh yeah by the way, repeating "overpopulation is a myth" over and over again like a mantra does not make it true, even the slightest bit. It only serves to make a fool out of a person.
